This mock audience persona project was created to better understand the target consumer for L’Oréal products and campaigns. By researching audience behaviors, values, and purchasing habits, the project highlights key consumer insights that can guide marketing strategies, branding decisions, and advertising approaches to create more relatable, effective, and engaging campaigns for young beauty consumers.

02

Mock fact sheet for L'Oreal

For this assignment, I developed a professional fact sheet as part of a public relations writing exercise. The task required creating a concise, informative document for a brand campaign, using L’Oréal USA as the client. I structured the fact sheet to clearly present key information about a proposed brand ambassador campaign celebrating the company’s 110th anniversary.

This included outlining the purpose of the campaign, its timeline, distribution channels, and key messaging, as well as incorporating executive quotes to reflect the brand’s voice and positioning. The assignment emphasized clarity, organization, and professionalism, while also demonstrating an understanding of strategic communication and how brands present information to media and the public.

03

Mock news release assignment for the Peace Corps

For this assignment, I wrote a professional news release focused on the Peace Corps, highlighting a week-long event celebrating the organization’s 65th anniversary. The task required applying standard news release format, including a clear headline, dateline, lead paragraph, and supporting details that communicate the significance of the event.

In developing this piece, I focused on presenting information in a concise, engaging, and journalistic style, while incorporating key details such as event purpose, speakers, and broader organizational impact. I also included quotes to reflect the voice of the organization and add credibility. This assignment strengthened my ability to write for media audiences and reinforced the importance of clarity, structure, and strategic messaging in public relations writing.

04

Mock Peace Corps Integrated Media Strategy

For this assignment, I developed an integrated media strategy centered on the Peace Corps, focusing on how the organization can evolve its messaging to reflect the growing role of technology in global service. The project required creating cohesive communication materials, including a website banner and a news release, to ensure consistent messaging across controlled media platforms.

I focused on aligning the campaign with the Peace Corps’ core values while introducing a forward-looking narrative that emphasizes innovation and the future of service. This included identifying key messaging themes, defining the target audience, and presenting ideas in a clear and strategic format. Through this assignment, I strengthened my ability to think holistically about communication strategies and how different media channels can work together to effectively convey a unified message
