About Sophie

Sophie is a sophomore at Syracuse University, pursuing a dual course of study at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where she focuses on public relations, and at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, where she studies international relations. Raised in Sydney, Australia, she brings a global perspective that shapes both her academic work and her professional aspirations.
She has developed experience in corporate event management and customer relations, particularly through her work with major sponsors of the Australian Open. This experience has strengthened her ability to collaborate with high-profile partners and will continue to support her growth in representing professional organizations with skill and confidence.
At Syracuse, Sophie is eager to explore the intersection of international relations and public relations, seeking ways to connect these disciplines in meaningful and practical ways. Passionate about human rights and the role of global forums, she views these commitments as central to the career she intends to pursue. Her long-term goal is to work in government public relations, representing leaders and institutions while shaping how they engage with the public on both domestic and international stages.
